If you look at the synagogues listing, you can click on each synagogue to be taken to their website and to learn more about them.

There are several synagogues in Saint Paul, each catering to different levels of Jewish observance. I recommend that you look at Mount Zion, which is a reform congregation, and Temple of Aaron, which is a conservative congregation. Another is the Merkos Chabad Lubavitch house, which is an Orthodox congregation in Saint Paul. All three are reasonable close to public transportation.
