Our Mission

Jewfolk Media’s current project is TC Jewfolk, a multi-author daily online magazine and virtual communal space primarily aimed at young Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota.

What We Do

With the help of over a dozen writers of varying Jewish identities, TC Jewfolk publishes news, commentary and creative expression six days a week – resting on the Jewish sabbath.  Through a number of channels including TCJewfolk.com, a Facebook™ pageYouTube™ channel and Twitter™ persona, TC Jewfolk strives to create conversations and connections within the greater Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish community and beyond.

We are always looking for new writers. Email Editor@tcjewfolk.com if you’re interested. (Note: It’s a non-paid gig, but we all find that it pays out in intangible rewards.)

In the News

The blog was named one of 10 Minnesota Blogs that deserve your attention in 2010by nonprofit news and analysis site Minnpost.com and was featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune article “Getting the News Out to Jews” in September 2009, and in the American Jewish World Newspaper’s article “To be Young, Hip, and Jewish” in September 2009.  TC Jewfolk’s articles are regularly featured on Twin Cities Daily Planet and MinnPost.com’s Blog Cabin.

TC Jewfolk’s news and politics coverage has been featured on MinnPost and Minnesota Public Radio.
