For me, Fargo edges out Hudsucker Proxy by a hair. Brilliant performances by all the leads, not to mention one of the coolest female protagonists ever. Add in all the hilarious Minnesota stuff and I’m hooked.

My head says Big Lebowski, but my heart will not abide and says Fargo.

Fargo is a gem of a film. It gives all Minnesotans cause to step back and reflect on our regional dialect only to insist that those of us who reside in the, “cities” have no such accent. Yes, denial runs firmly though the heart of our metropolitan area.

I think the best part of the film, is the very start of it. Stirring up local urban myths that Fargo is indeed, “based on a true story.”

All the movies are great – but I do believe I may love Fargo the best. After all, it was my first.
