Free Tickets to Comedy with David Harris on New Year’s Eve

So New Year’s Eve is Saturday night. And you don’t have any plans. Or your plans are… well… lame. And you know you should change them. But you don’t know how.

So, remember the really cool comedian that you couldn’t hear at Jewbilee because the place was jam packed with good lookin’ Jews? The one where the people who could hear him were laughing the WHOLE time?

His name was David Harris. He’s a comedian, magician, entertainer, you name it.

And he’s performing live on New Year’s Eve (read: your new perfect New Year’s plans) with standup comedian Isaac Witty, who has been featured on Late Night with David Letterman and Comedy Central.  David himself is not too shabby, having appeared to rave reviews on Minnesota’s ABC, CBS, & FOX TV and having won two regional Emmy’s for sketch comedy TV.

Here are the details for David Harris’ hilarious New Year’s Eve show:

• 7:30pm Showtime | 6:30pm Dinner (Optional)
• Padelford Packet Boat Co – Showboat, Harriet Island, St. Paul (no, the boat doesn’t move. It sits there, so you can leave to head to your late night evening plans easily when the show is over)
• Tickets per person:$25 (show only) or $49 (dinner, drinks & show) (unless of course you win our free tickets)

By the way, in case you’re curious (and I was), here’s more info on David Harris’ Jewish creds. He attended Temple Israel in Minneapolis and was Bar Mitzvahed there.  He’s been performing since he was 15 where he started entertaining regularly at Jewish events across the Twin Cities including Bar and Bat Mitzvahs where he says the older Jewish people were more interested in asking, “Who are your parents?” than picking a card.  David will be making his third appearance by co-headlining the 2012 Minneapolis Jewish Humor Festival at the Sabes JCC in St. Louis Park, MN (co-sponsored by TC Jewfolk) with a new show entitled, “The David Harris and David Harris Comedy and Variety Show – Two Men.  One Name.  Three times the Entertainment.”
