It is the same old hatred of Jews now wearing a new costume. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the region that has not been responsible at some point for terrorist attacks on the West. People trying to call Israel an apartheid state clearly have no grasp on reality. The Palestinians supported the war against the legally recognized state of Israel. Now 60 years after many Palestinians fled Israel, they are still living in refugee camps. The conditions in these camps based on Muslim soil and run by Muslims is horrendous compared to what Palestinians face in Gaza or the West Bank. The Muslim world hold Palestinians in such conditions for decade after decade as a political weapon. The Palestinians fought against Israel and then expect to be treated as heroes? If they are such heroes, why does every Muslim country in which they find themselves treat them like prisoners of war? Hamas was elected mainly on the basis that it promised to kill every last Jew in Israel. Fatah is bent on taking control of every last inch not just of Gaza and the West Bank but all of Israel. Sadly too many, including far too many Jews, believe that swapping land will bring peace. Clearly people have forgotten what happened after Germany was allowed to occupy Czech lands. Just like Hitler, leadership of both Fatah and Hamas have made explicitly clear their intentions. It seems as if the world once again chooses to ignore the signs at its own peril. Does anyone really think that the Palestinians and Arabs in general will be satisfied if they somehow seize control of all the Israeli lands? They will take some time to consolidate their hold over the area. Then they will spread worldwide jihad on a scale that makes today's terrorist attacks seem tame by comparison. People need to stop acting like Neville Chamberlain and more like Winston Churchill.
