Nature Boys (and Girls!)

Summer Arts Workshop for Adults: One With Nature

Wed., July 22; 10 a.m. Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Chaska, MN

Wanna be a hippy for a day?! Come join Sabes JCC as it explores the great outdoors, at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum! The event will include mindful yoga exercises, creating a “collaborative nature mandala,” (not even a little clue what that last one means, but darn it if it doesn’t sound like a barrel of monkeys!) as well as sketching and journaling about the surrounding environment. I’ll admit it: That sounds like a lot of fun. My only concern is whether or not there will be indoor plumbing. I’m not much of an outhouse kinda guy. Just putting that out there.

Summer Arts Workshop for Adults: Mysteries of Mississippi

Wednesday, July 29. 10 a.m. Mill City Museum, downtown

An art and architecture journey along the Mississippi River, incorporating historical and cultural facts. Documented through onsite photography and shared river stories culminating in an online photo exhibition. Picnic at Gold Medal Park. Bring your own lunch or purchase from the Mill City Café. Wear layers and comfortable clothing & shoes for walking (up to 2 miles). Bring your camera or cell phones with camera capabilities.

St. Paul Young Adult Division Happy Hour
