Blue Skies: A Festival of Poetry in Song

Roses are red, violets are blue, and if you think I’m going to write a poem for this here column, then the joke’s on you! HA! See what I did there? Yeah, I know. Überlame. But ya know what isn’t überlame, folks?! Well, um, no. I guess you probably don’t. The Twin Cities Jewish Chorale, a 35-member chorus, will sing poetry from medieval times, the jazz of Irving Berlin, the Yiddish poems of American immigrants, and much, much more!

Travel the World Cooking Class

While some may be only content to taste the rainbow, there are others who want to taste the entire world. A night of international flavors is in store thorugh a partnership between Leap Events, local chef/teacher Zehorit Heilicher, and Appetite For Change. The event will be held at a private home. Just, please, don’t drink the water, people.,
