You’re invited: Attend a JFCS Focus Group, and Get Free Tickets to See Comedian John Pinette

Jewish Family and Children's Service of MinneapolisThis is a Guest Column by Sarah Slavick of JFCS Minneapolis.

If you’re reading this blog, chances are you like to be in tune with Minneapolis/St. Paul’s Jewish community. And you probably like to eat . . . and you probably like to laugh. Who doesn’t?

If you’re in your 20’s, Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Minneapolis (JFCS) has a perfect offer for you.

We’d like to give you a free dinner Thursday, Nov. 19, and two free tickets to see hilarious comedian John Pinette at our Annual Benefit on Saturday, Dec. 5, in exchange for  . . . your thoughts! The dinner on the 19th will be at FIVE Event Center (2917 Bryant Ave. S. Minneapolis) starting at 6 p.m. Be one of the first 15 to RSVP to me at [email protected] to reserve your spot!

Even if you know JFCS only by its name or have never volunteered before, we’d still like to ask you a few questions about volunteering and community involvement. And all you have to do is answer the questions, and you get the free dinner on the 19th and two free tickets to our Benefit on Dec. 5, where Pinette, a very funny guy, will perform.

After you watch Pinette on YouTube, you’ll definitely want to score our free tickets.

If you can’t make it to the dinner and ticket giveaway on Thursday, Nov. 19, but still want to attend the Benefit on Saturday, Dec. 5, we have a great ticket deal for 20-somethings. You can buy three tickets at $25 each and get the fourth ticket free. And if you’re 21 or older, you get a free drink voucher, too. Call 952-542-4875 to purchase tickets.

You’ll have a great time at the Benefit, and the money from your tickets supports so many wonderful programs and services for the community. For more information on everything JFCS does for the Jewish and general communities, go to www.jfcsmpls.org or call 952-546-0616.

We hope to see you on Thursday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Dec. 5!
