You are correct Galit: holidays are meant to be joyful, fun, and whatever feels happy for you inside. And sometimes that comes from making others happy by doing something that is not so easy. It can be difficult when you start a family and want to create your own traditions because, for whatever reasons, you also don't want to leave the old ones behind. I guess it's about compromise and letting go and realizing that these special days only happen once a year. I hope your Thanksgiving was lovely overall - Hugs!

I really enjoyed your website! Your blog is wonderful reading. Have you heard of Danny the Dragon? One of my favorites, and worth a visit as it is the nominee for Best Children’s Picture Book of 2009! http://DannyTheDragon.com
