My parents got this book for their 25th wedding anniversary (I am now 70, so you can imagine how long ago that was). At the age of 16 I rolled in laughter reading the chapter introductions. When I got older and married, I bought the book for myself and have used it ever since. The pages are disintegrating and falling apart, but I guard it with my life. It is fantastic.

What a great piece! My mom has this cookbook and I got one when I got married. It is my “go to” holiday cookbook. You must try the Piquant Meatballs. I make them often for appetizers and everyone loves them!

Leora, I love this piece. The circa 1956 cookbook cover is priceless! Start writing notes in right in that book. Your kids (and you!) will love seeing your handwriting and it’ll be neat to see which recipes you’ve been using for *forever* years to come!
