Nechama: The Jewish Response to Disaster
NECHAMA (the Hebrew word meaning comfort) is your way to help fellow Minnesotans and surrounding states clean-up from nature’s most damaging storms. The organization helps those who have been affected by tornadoes, floods and hurricanes free of charge and we help all those who are need. As a NECHAMA volunteer, you will travel to the scene of natural disasters and be part of a team to assist in the relief effort. For more information about NECHAMA, how to become a volunteer or help in other ways. Please go to their website at: http://www.nechama.org.
