Shabbat Thought: SodaStream and Macy’s

Macy’s is removing popular BDS target SodaStream from its shelves.

Wall Street Journal’s MoneyBeat blog first reported it. According to the WSJ, it seems to be a case of a big box retailer moving on from a product that’s just not selling.

Other sources, operating mostly on conjecture, claim Macy’s bowed to BDS pressure. Snopes.com seems to think the BDS claim is “Probably False.”

But what do you think? Was there behind-the-scenes pressure? Is this something BDS can claim as a victory? Is it a whole lot of nothing?
