Dear friends,

We at TC Jewfolk, and Jewfolk Media, Inc. (TC Jewfolk’s parent 501(c)(3) nonprofit), are humbled and honored to announce that with your amazing outpouring of support, we have met our birthday fundraising match of $6,000.

That means that in a week and a half, you have collectively donated $6,000 to support our TC Jewfolk’s efforts to use new technology, social media, and community-based journalism to re-engage young Jews in Jewish life, reduce unaffiliation, educate about Jewish topics, encourage young Jewish philanthropy, support local Jewish organizations, and preserve Jewish culture and support for Israel.

Thanks to our birthday match gift of $6,000 from Kathrine E. and Louis F. Hill, plus financial support from Minneapolis Jewish Federation and the George Kaplan Memorial Foundation, we are now in a position to hire our first professional staff-person, an Editor/Community Manager for TC Jewfolk. Stay tuned for our job posting, which will be released in the next week or two.

For now, all we can say is thank you. Thank you and Shechecheyanu.
