As I re-read Jenna's beautiful and sensitive Sukkot essay, I realize that my ritual for celebrating future Jewish holidays will require a visit to learn what insights Jenna has to share, enriching these sacred moments for each of us.

Thank you, Mary, I love hearing comments like these because they tell me that while our holidays and rituals are different they resonate on many levels, and are not restricted to only one faith.

Such a fascinating explanation of Sukkot. It fits right in with the old testiment storyabout Abraham and Sarah I have been presenting to children during their Methodist 'Faith Walk.' The personal touch you gave this, Jenna, made the experience come to life. The stories and traditions shared by people of differing faiths makes us realize we are truly one people.

Stacey and Elissa - I'm thrilled that you got so much out of Jenna's piece. We're so thrilled to have her writing for TC Jewfolk for exactly those same reasons - her writing touches a part of our souls and reminds us of what it means to be Jewish in this world. Don't miss Jenna's piece on Simchat Torah this Monday.

This piece of writing is so beautifully "Jewish" in it's ability to understand how holy the personal experience of living is. It touched me, it is the kind of narrative that reminds me of why I am so proud to be part of the Jewish community.
