Twitter Image2 150x150 Wanted: TC Jewfolk Social Media InternWe’re looking for a social media intern to join our team. Do you love Twitter? Are you a Facebook fanatic? Always ahead of the crowd when it comes to social media? If you answered with an enthusiastic “yes” and you’re a strong writer with a strategic mind, you may be the person we’re looking for!

Under the direction of our Editor-in-Chief, the social media intern will help develop the TC Jewfolk social media plan and execute it. The social media plan is an integral part of TC Jewfolk’s branding/marketing so strategic thinking is a must! An emphasis will be placed on Twitter and the intern, acting as the voice of TC Jewfolk, will post several times per day (Shabbat excluded).

The internship will require approximately 5-10 hours of time per week from the comfort of your home or favorite coffee shop. You’ll also meet with our editorial staff during bi-monthly, in person meetings to discuss the work and gain feedback. This is an unpaid internship; academic credit may be available through your program.

To apply for the social media internship, email Managing Editor Emily Cornell (emily@tcjewfolk.com)  with “Social Media Internship” in the subject line. Include your resume, a concise pitch for why you’re the perfect fit and your Twitter handle.  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis – the first right fit will get the gig.
