10th Annual B’Yachad Gift Bag Program Kicks Off

For the 10th year, Jewish Family Service of St. Paul (JFS) is leading the B’Yachad Gift Bag program, the community’s opportunity to contribute to gift bags for people who are experiencing increased levels of isolation and loneliness.

With the community’s help, the program hopes to safely deliver more than 150 gift bags to people who are in need emotionally, financially or spiritually. Each bag will contain a face mask and hand sanitizer to help keep them safe, a sweet holiday treat, warm wishes in a holiday card and a gift card for groceries and home essentials to help them celebrate the holiday or purchase groceries.

We have three opportunities for you to get involved this year.

  1. Donate at jfssp.org/donate. Your gift of $36 will provide one gift bag that contains a fabric mask, hand sanitizer, a sweet holiday treat, a greeting card and a gift card for groceries and home essentials. $72 will provide two bags!
  1. Register here to safely deliver gift bags. Sign up for curbside pickup at JFS, then deliver your bags to the doorsteps of those in need between December 1-10.
  1. Register here to create holiday cards. Adults and children are encouraged to create Cards of Kindness to be inserted in every gift bag.

This year more than ever before, we are all feeling disconnected from each other. Help us ensure that the isolated, lonely and vulnerable know we are thinking of them.
