Susie Kaufman had worked as a teacher in New York City when, a decade ago, she moved with her family to Minnesota. This move ended up starting a chain of events that opened up a path she never saw herself on before — starting with becoming one of eight candidates for three seats in this fall’s St. Louis Park School Board race.
