Position Summary:
The Minnesota JCC seeks a detail-oriented and technically proficient Arts Program Coordinator to support and implement dynamic arts programs that engage audiences across the Jewish community and beyond. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in event planning, technical production, and logistics who thrives in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and Jewish values.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of arts programs, ensuring seamless event logistics including scheduling, vendor coordination, and artist support.
- Assist with audiovisual and technical needs, including operating lighting, sound, and projection equipment for live events, film screenings, and performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events.
- Manage event ticketing systems, audience services, and front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and engaging and mission-driven programs.
- Administrative support tasks as needed to support arts programming.
Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in program coordination.
- Proven experience in event coordination and arts programming.
- Technical proficiency in AV systems, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues in live event settings.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and audience services.
- Strong understanding of Jewish culture and traditions (or willingness to learn).
