Position Summary:
Talmud Torah of Minneapolis is a Jewish supplementary school located in the Sabes Jewish Community Center campus (St. Louis Park, Minnesota) that meets on Monday through Thursday afternoons/evenings and on Sunday mornings. Students range from second to eighth grade. Talmud Torah is a vibrant school with more than 125 years of history. We offer a rigorous education that builds knowledge of Judaism and its traditional practices based on the teachings and egalitarian, pluralistic principles of the Conservative movement.
We are seeking creative and enthusiastic teachers for our elementary and middle
school programs. Elementary school classes (grades 2-5) meet twice a week, either on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons or on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Middle school classes (grades 6-8) meet on weekday afternoons and evenings, and schedules vary by grade.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Formal or informal teaching experience
- Engaging and passionate about Jewish education

- Interested in learning and growing as a Jewish educator
- Knowledge of Jewish rituals, holidays and values
- Ability to read Hebrew
- Comfortable with technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
Experience with experiential education a plus. College students, as well as more experienced candidates, are encouraged to apply.
