Position Summary:
Work directly with the Executive Director to develop and implement strategies to secure financial support for the JCRC, ensuring sustainability and organizational growth by tracking and managing fundraising campaigns and grant applications. This professional is responsible for managing the donor database (Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud), donor communications, and fundraising platforms.
This is a key position that offers exposure to all aspects of non-profit fundraising.
One of the primary duties of this role is to work closely with the Director of Business Operations to help plan, coordinate and execute a successful Annual Event, our organization’s annual fundraising gala.
The ideal candidate for this role should be self-motivated and possess exceptional communication, time management and interpersonal skills along with strong attention to detail.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Development
- Manage and maintain donor records including gift entry and tracking
- Process and acknowledge donations and tribute requests in a timely manner
- Create, run and analyze donor reports
- Administer donation platforms, including GiveSmart and GiveMN
- Work with Director of Business Operations to process bank deposits
- Assist with grant writing, reporting and tracking on behalf of the organization
- Provide accurate donor list for Annual Impact Report
Annual Event
(Note that the 2026 Annual Event is scheduled for 6/7/2026 and attendance is mandatory)
- In close coordination with the Director of Business Operations, oversee multiple aspects of the Annual Event’s planning and execution
- Work closely with the Graphic Designer and JCRC staff to manage the production of the Annual Event invitation
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify and secure sponsors
- Serve as the primary contact for sponsors regarding guest lists and benefit fulfillment
- Coordinate fundraising elements of the Annual Event, including managing ticket sales, guest tracking and sponsor invoicing
- Work with ad book consultants to track ad sales and payments
- Responsible for ordering supplies for the Annual Event
Fundraising Campaigns
- Create, implement and track an annual plan for Executive Director’s donor outreach
- Manage other fundraising such as end of year campaign, end of fiscal year, and Give to the Max Day
- Work with Data and Marketing Manager to implement fundraising communications
- Coordinate special donor groups such as the Directors Circle and Life and Legacy
General Programs and Operations Support
- Assist with other JCRC programs and events including the Hanukkah Party and Annual Meeting including areas such as venue, catering, nametags, speakers, and invoicing
- Provide backup office support when required, including greeting in-person visitors, answering the phone or picking up treats for an in-person meeting
- Assist with office management including managing supplies
- Other duties as assigned

Education and other training:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Experience in project planning, customer service, and/or office administration

Our office is located at the Barry Family Campus at 4330 Cedar Lake Road S., St. Louis Park, MN 55416. This is primarily an in-person position. Occasional work from home days can be arranged.
