Position Summary:

This position expands the reach of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas’ (JCRC) education and advocacy, and community relations programs. This position will work to advance the multiple missions of the JCRC.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The following list comprises the primary job responsibilities; it is not designed to be a comprehensive listing of all activities that may be required.

  • Collaborate with Director of Communications and Community Affairs to create and publish content (copy and graphics) for email marketing, social media, web site, newsletters, and other communication products;
  • Intake community member reports of bias/antisemitic incidents and coordinate response with JCRC colleagues;
  • Work with JCRC team members to standardize, improve, coordinate, and deliver educational presentations;
  • Provide and maintain data entry for education programs, including constituent data and evaluations;
  • Track JCRC media hits and create reports capturing JCRC’s media reach;
  • Provide operational support for events, including creating and managing registration pages, marketing graphics, tracking and communicating with attendees, and preparing event materials;
  • Assist in building and maintaining JCRC’s Customer Relations Management system;
  • Serve as a resource for JCRC team members in the use of virtual tools; and
  • Be a JCRC ambassador in the community.

Education and other training:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Experience in project planning, customer service, and/or office administration

Additional Information

Reports to: JCRC Director of Communications and Community Affairs

Our office is located at the Barry Family Campus at 4330 Cedar Lake Road S., St. Louis Park, MN 55416. This is primarily an in-person position, working at least 3-4 days in the office each week and more as projects arise.
