Addiction and Recovery Summer Series
JFCS will host a three-part Addiction and Recovery Summer Series designed for parents, caregivers, and community members who want to better understand and respond to real-life addiction and recovery topics. These expert-led sessions will tackle tough topics head-on, providing practical guidance, up-to-date information, life-saving skills, and realistic strategies for discussion and support of loved-ones. Each session will address a single topic; participants can choose to attend one session, or all three. The suggested cost is $10/session with a sliding scale available. We do not want payment to be a barrier to attend.
6-7:30 p.m.
Raising Awareness, Reducing Harm: Understanding Today’s Drug Trends will be held on Wed., September 10– Explore emerging drug trends, learn ways to identify commonly used drugs and their impact, and discuss what your kids are being exposed to at school and online. It will also include Q&A, so come with your questions ready. Presenter: Justin McNeal of Begin Anew Recovery.
