We are excited to have congregant member and author Doris Rubenstein leading a book talk at Beth Jacob synagogue! Who knew that there are Jews in Ecuador? Certainly not the Cohen-Sauer family when they were looking for a safe haven from Hitler!  What do YOU know about this tiny Jewish community?  Doris Rubenstein has become a local — if not national — expert on this subject as a result of her research to write The Boy with Four Names. You’ll learn something new and maybe get motivated to visit this beautiful country.
