Community Visioning Session—Building Connections with Global Jewry

The Minneapolis Jewish community is committed to building strong connections with Jews around the globe. What does it look like to ensure those connections are both powerful and relevant to more members of our community? Join us for a two-hour, interactive session in which we’ll explore this topic.

Through a series of fast-paced and collaborative exercises, we will explore the question:

How do we expand and deepen personal connections with Global Jewry?

Notice that this topic is not about specific programs, events, trips, or attendance rates.

Instead, we want to describe what the best possible successful future looks like, taking into consideration things like:

  • Levels of connection; how to build on awareness to foster commitment

  • Articulating nodes of interest for deepened connection

  • How to bring global experiences home in order to expand the local experiences of global events

This workshop is open to the entire community: lay leaders, donors, clergy, subject matter experts, program providers, and community members at all stages of life and within all areas of interest.
