ECO-mmunity: Planting, Buying, and Eating Sustainably
ECO-mmunity: Planting, Buying, and Eating Sustainably
Thursday, February 18th | 6-7:15 PM | Zoom
The food we eat connects us to each other – culturally, ecologically, and through a common language to share our heritage and values – and to the natural world around us. Build eco-mmunity with us as we hear from 3 speakers working in the sustainable food industry while partaking in hands-on activities: cooking a locally-grown meal, planting new seeds, and designing eco-kashrut standards.
Sign-ups for the optional eco-community meal and seed kit are requested by Friday, February 12th and will be coordinated for pick-up or delivery before the program. Register here.
Brought to you by YALA Twin Cities, a program of the Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish Federations, Moishe House Twin Cities, and Mount Zion Temple.
