Empowered Voices Series: Miki Chayat
Join the first of our three-part Partnership2Gether series, Miki Chayat: Entrepreneurship in the Haredi Community – Creative Solutions for tackling youth at risk challenges in Israeli society.
Miki Chayat is 33 years old, married, and a father of three, and lives in Rehovot, Israel. He attended a Talmud Torah and Yeshiva in Rehovot as a child and later on attended a large yeshiva called Nachalat David in Petach Tikva. In 2015, he founded the ultra-Orthodox association for rhythm, which uses sports as an educational and therapeutic tool. The association helps youth at risk through martial arts and operates a project to reduce hostility and bring people closer together from different sectors in Israel.
