Greeting the Sunset – a Havdalah Picnic and Service
Or Emet’s annual Havdalah Picnic and Service
This family-friendly event brings all all ages together for a pot-luck picnic supper (Hot dogs, both meat & veggie, are provided with a grill available for those who may want to prepare something different; Attendees bring their own beverages and a salad, side dish or dessert to share), followed by a short but meaningful Havdalah service to mark the end of Shabbat, winding up with s’mores around the fire pit. Crosby Farm Park offers open space for kids’ games and beautiful trails along the Mississippi River.
This event is free of charge, but reservations are required of those who are not Or Emet members. For information or to RSVP, contact Molly Phipps, Jewish Cultural Sunday School Director, [email protected], or (651)398-4248.
