Save the date! Hadassah Minneapolis St. Paul will host author and artist Lucy Rose Fischer, who will talk about her book, Life is Short and So Am I, on Monday, September 15 at 1 p.m. at a location to be announced when you register. “I’ve been eating cherries and peaches—luscious summer fruits that dye our chins and fingertips with dribbling juice. Peaches and cherries are pricey, even when they’re in season, costing more than apples or even the lovely clementines that we get in winter. I’m treating myself to cherries and peaches because I’m old.”

So begins this collection of blogs about growing old and older. Beginning when she is in her mid-sixties until she turns eighty, Fischer reflects on aging, the passage of time, creative sparks, love and loss, and the turns and twists of life.
