Jones & Bloom’s Culture Zoom is not your average R&B – Jazz ensemble. Their material is comprised of familiar & original songs, arranged to celebrate cultural commonalities & unite diverse ethnicities.
Geoff Jones
Chicago native Geoff Jones was a veteran member of the three-time Grammy Award-winning music ensemble Sounds of Blackness, under super-producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. He currently works as a solo performing artist, musical director & arranger. Geoff is the voice of the title character in the Disney animated short film John Henry, part of their Tall Tales & Legends series.
Mark Bloom
Brooklyn, NY native Mark Bloom has arranged, composed, performed & produced musical & theatrical projects for over four decades. Mark has accompanied a wide range of domestic & international performers, while recording seven CDs of his original material & innovative arrangements.
By applying African-American styles to Jewish music, Mark has produced his
Jazz & gospel-styled services at dozens of houses of faith nationwide.
