Naloxone Training for Families & Teens: Empowering Communities to Save Lives
Training presented by Steve Rummler Hope Network (SRHN) in Collaboration with JFCS Minneapolis
Join us for an informative and empowering event hosted at JFCS in partnership with SRHN. You will receive essential training on Naloxone administration and overdose prevention, with a special focus on families and families with teenagers/young adults. Parents and caregivers and teens are encouraged to attend.
At this training, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Learn to Recognize Opioid Overdoses: Gain the knowledge and skills to identify the signs of an opioid overdose promptly.
- Discover the Power of Naloxone: Understand what naloxone/Narcan is and how it effectively reverses opioid overdoses.
- Master Naloxone Administration: Receive hands-on training on how to properly administer naloxone to someone experiencing an overdose, potentially saving a life.
- Explore Steve’s Law/MN’s Good Samaritan and Naloxone Law: Learn about the legal aspects and protections related to naloxone use.
- And More: We’ll cover additional crucial information to help you become a confident and informed responder in opioid overdose situations.
Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire life-saving skills. Together, we can create a safer and more supportive environment for our families and community. We hope that you can join us.
We look forward to seeing you there!
