Publishing Your Family Story
Why do we do family research? For many of us, it is to pass the story on to the next generation. So, you’ve done your research, and traced the story of your family. How do you share it and where to begin?
Join us on June 25th at 1:00 pm CT when Andy Grachuk, an award-winning master book designer, will take us through the process of assembling your family’s history within a book. His talk will explore goals, costs and the questions you will want to consider if publishing a family history book. He will discuss the role of a designer and a client, how you organize information and transform it into an output file, and the various printing options. Finally, Andy will discuss working with a custom book designer versus options offered by the major genealogy platforms as well as alternative ways of sharing your information electronically.
Andy Grachuk blends his design abilities and technical knowledge to create award-winning books for clients around the world. In addition to general graphic work, Andy shares twenty years of book publishing experience through consultation and discussion.
