Presenter Diana Graber, founder of CyberWise.org and CyberCivics.com two organizations dedicated to improving digital literacy skills and author, “Raising Humans in a Digital World: Helping Children Build a Healthy Relationship with Technology”. A long-time media producer with an M.A. in “Media Psychology & Social Change,” Graber is also Waldorf school parent and teacher who developed (and still teaches) Cyber Civics at Journey School, in Aliso Viejo, CA. Her paper, “Media Literacy Education: A Developmental Approach,” was published in the Journal of Media Literacy Education (JMLE) and she was honored with the “2017 Media Literacy Teacher Award” from the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE). Today she is a regular contributor on digital media topics for HuffPost and others, and is regularly called upon by the media to comment on tech topics. As Adjunct Professor of Media Psychology for the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP), she taught “Media Psychology for the 21st Century.” She travels widely to speak to parents, at conferences, and to conduct teacher workshops.
