SHRINK/we all need one (new musical by Rimon recipient Sophie Pimsler

SHRINK/we all need one, an original rock musical returning to Minneapolis September 17–20 at the Luminary Arts Center. Written and directed by Rimon recipient Sophie Pimsler, SHRINK explores mental health, relationships, identity, and healing through an intersection of dance, theater, live rock music, and storytelling. Supported with funding from Rimon JCC and the Minnesota State Arts Board (MSAB), the production includes new music by Venus de Mars, and additional musical compositions by Pimsler.

Following every performance, there will be a talk-back with members of the cast and selected mental health professionals, offering audiences an opportunity to reflect on the themes of the production and connect the stories onstage to broader conversations about mental health, healing, and the communities we live and work within.
