6 p.m. – Q and A with Jonathan Mayo about Jews and Baseball. The talk will be held, with amplified sound, at our block of seats in the CHS Field (360 N Broadway St, St Paul).

Jonathan Mayo has been a reporter for MLB.com since 1999 and is their draft and prospect expert. He was the on-screen reporter in: Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel a spirited documentary about a group of nice Jewish American baseball players who take on the world competing for Israel’s national baseball team. It is a David-and-Goliath story as they head to the World Baseball Classic in 2017. He is also the author of a new book coming out this summer: Smart, Wrong, and Lucky: The Origin Stories of Baseball’s Unexpected Stars. Jonathan’s book will be available for purchase at the game for $28.
