We’ll start with the Judy Blume classic, “Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing.” We’ll follow that with three more recent novels for 8 to year-olds: Kate DiCamillo’s “Flora and Ulysses,” Richard Peck’s “The Mouse with the Question Mark Tail,” and Will Henry’s “Wallace the Brave.” All these books are readily available in paperback or as Kindle books on Amazon.

Want to stretch your imagination this summer? Join Dr. Schultz and your friends to watch and then talk about some of these movies that are exciting and fantastical! We will be choosing among these films: “Hugo,” “Mary and the Witch’s Flower,” “The Hobbit” (1977 version), “The Last Unicorn,” and “The Princess Bride.” The films are either available on Netflix or for free viewing on the internet.
