Pulpit Guest: Rabbi Daniel G. Zemel speaking on:
The Future of the American Synagogue
Rabbi Zemel has been the senior rabbi of Temple Micah, Washington, DC, since 1983. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous community and Jewish organizations but derives greatest satisfaction from being a founder of Micah House, a group home for formerly homeless women in recovery from addiction. His twenty-year involvement with Synagogue 2000 was instrumental in shaping his vision of synagogue life and the role of rabbi. Rabbi Zemel’s wife, Louise, is a member of the Melamed family, and one of their children, Ronit, taught in the religious school 2011-15.

Please join for a festive Oneg Shabbat. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.
