The Secret of the Possible

“The Secret of the Possible”
Themes from the ancient Zohar* applied to everyday life.
Instructor: Joy Gordon, Joy of Kabbalah
Based on teachings by Hana Matt (with permission).

Intergenerational classes are via Zoom, Wednesday evenings February 1, 8, 15, 22 and March 1 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. CST with an optional informal half-hour extended discussion time. All classes are recorded for later viewing.

This class weaves in the voices of sages to bring the lessons of the Zohar down to earth. It beckons us to look beneath the surface of a situation to seek the gems of possibility that can be hidden there. We can then be empowered to take inspired action to raise up the energy to bring about positive change. Discover how these teachings can make a difference in your life and in the lives of those around you.

Lesson 1: Discovering “The Secret of the Possible.”
By focusing your intention on “The Secret of The Possible,” you learn to make a shift from literal thinking to possibility thinking to encounter new creative life strategies.
Lesson 2: Explore the magic of “The Opening of the Tent”
So often in the Zohar, a revelation occurs at “The Opening of the Tent,” a place of new possibility. Discover how to apply this perspective to areas of your life.
Lesson 3: “Within My Body, I See G-d.”
Each of the 10 Sefirot (energies) of the Tree of Life can be related to a specific part of the body and can become an instrument of your spiritual practice.
Lesson 4: Practices to open more to the Divine within you.
Create your inner divine sanctuary as a dwelling place of expanded holiness. Consciously “Change the Channel” from negative to positive expression.
Lesson 5 Life and Work as Spiritual Practice
When you shift your perspective to recognize the Divine in each person and situation, everything and everyone around you is raised up through you.
