Trans Day of Remembrance Kabbalat Shabbat
Join J-Pride, Shir Tikvah, and beloved community members for our 3rd annual Transgender Day of Remembrance Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m.
We’ll gather in pluralistic, multi-generational Jewish community to mark Transgender Day of Remembrance with ritual, prayer, intentions, and song. Our practices resist binaries and this service will weave together a variety of Jewish traditions, approaches, and communities. Stick around after the service for a Q+A session with Miriam Graham. Please register here for the Zoom link.
We look forward to dreaming of a world healed and whole with you, where all Trans people have the right to live lives that are safe and celebrated. All are welcome and encouraged to attend, but please be mindful that these spaces are curated by Trans Jews, for Trans Jews. This service will be closed-captioned and we are working to have ASL-interpretation.
