Unpacking the Israeli Election

Tuesday marked the fifth Israeli election in three years, and perhaps the most consequential yet.
Voters went to the polls to decide whether or not longtime Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would return to power, just 16 months after the Likud leader was ousted by a coalition that is currently being led by caretaker Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
While the results continue to trickle in from Israel, join the JTA team to understand what voters decided on Tuesday, what comes next in the coalition building process and what it all means for the future of Israel and its relationship with the United States.

Hear from JTA editor in chief Philissa Cramer, JTA Washington bureau chief Ron Kampeas and 70 Faces Media’s Israel-based director of business development and longtime reporter and editor Uriel Heilman as they unpack the latest developments and answer your questions.
