VIRTUAL Community Visioning—A Diverse Pool of Young Adult Leaders

Join us for a two-hour, VIRTUAL interactive session where we’ll envision the future where our Jewish community supports and fosters a diverse pool of young adult leaders. Through a series of fast-paced and collaborative exercises, we will explore the question:

How can our community foster a diverse pool of young adult leaders?

To create that vision together, we need to describe what success looks like. What is present and happening in our community when we have a diverse pool of young adult leaders? We will consider things like:

  • Different pathways or entry points for young leaders to become involved

  • Types of opportunities—what skills, levels of involvement, and benefits do they provide?

  • Identifying and addressing barriers to participation—let’s describe what isn’t happening

  • What do organizations need to know and do in order to engage more young adults?

  • What doesn’t our community understand about young adults?

This workshop is open to the entire community: volunteers, professionals, donors, young adults, rising young adults, and long-standing community lay leaders.
