VIRTUAL Community Visioning Session—Enhancing the Lives of Jews in Need
Our community’s needs for health and human services resources always exceed capacity. How can we as a community proactively close that gap?
Join MJF for a two-hour, VIRTUAL interactive session in which we’ll explore this topic. The question we’ll be exploring collaboratively in this workshop is:
How will we as a community know that we are successfully enhancing the lives of Jews in need?
Notice that this topic is not about specific organizations, programs, costs, or participation rates—those are up to the experts… the organizations and experts who specialize in health and human services. Instead, we’re taking a community-wide view on maximizing our impact through the clearer articulation of what success looks like.
To take this community-wide perspective we might consider:
Describing what is happening across our community when more Jews in need are experiencing life enhancements
Identifying critical gaps in services, access points, and awareness
Empowering service providers and specialists to respond as flexibly and creatively as possible to ever-changing needs
This workshop is open to the entire community: professionals, subject matter experts, service recipients, caregivers, friends and families, board members, clergy, and donors.
