When Words Are Not Enough
As Jews, we commemorate the month of Elul by sounding the shofar daily. Join us this Wednesday, September 4, the first day of Elul, for a shofar blast honoring the lives lost at the hands of Hamas. We will gather as a community and let the shofar blasts serve as the collective voice of our pain, our hope and our unity. You are invited to bring your shofar if you want to participate in the community blast.

Why can’t we mourn for all the lives lost since Oct. 7th? For those who have lost their lives at the hands of Hamas and those who have lost their lives at the hands of the IDF.
For almost a year now, people have been saying “words are not enough” and yet these Twin Cities Institutions choose to claim they speak for an entire community while staying silent on issues of the equality of human life.
