Fire Risk Leads To Recall Of Target Menorah

That nice looking menorah you may have purchased at Target last fall? The Consumer Product Safety Commission says you shouldn’t use it for next Hanukkah.

The CPSC issued a recall on the menorah, which sold at Target stores nationwide from October 2015 through December 2015 for about $20.

According to the CPSC, the recall involves clear, acrylic Hanukkah menorahs in a pyramid design recalled menorah labelthat are 10.5 inches long, 1.2 inches wide and 2.3 inches high. The model number is 240-14-0169 and bar code can be found on a round white label on the side of the menorah.

Target received eight reports of the product melting, including three reports of fire. No property damage or injuries have been reported.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled menorahs and return them to Target for a full refund.
