Deconstructing Resconstructionist (FREE!)

Is Reconstructionist Judaism for you? Get to know Mayim Rabim Congregation

Sun. Aug. 30; 1:30 p.m.; Friends Meeting House, 44th & York Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN

Reconstructionist Judaism: What’s it all mean? For those not in the know, this American-based form of Judaism is one of the more modern branches, based on the ideas of Mordecai Kaplan and originating as a branch of Conservative Judaism before it came into its own. (For those truly wondering how I knew that: I am not that smart. Well, at least, I’m smart enough to know when I’m out of my depth of a certain topic and therefore not above consulting my Wiki friends). That being said, if this branch of Judaism sounds interesting to you, do yourself a favor and join Rabbi Sharon Stiefel and other synagogue leaders for what you might call Reconstructionist Judaism 101.
