Mark Your Calendar: Mpls Jewish Film Fest Opens Next Week

In case it’s not already on your calendar,  save the date on April 8th for the opening of The Minneapolis Jewish Film Festival. From April 8th – 18th, the festival will feature over 20 films (features, documentaries and shorts) from around the world that highlight themes of Jewish culture and identity.
Join TC Jewfolk as we help festival organizers celebrate opening night. The evening starts at 5:45pm with a party at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Sushi, sweets and a hot tea bar will get everybody in the mood for the opening night film A Matter of Size. Tickets for the party (which also include admission to the movie) are only $15. They’re expected to sell out, so make sure you RSVP. Visit the event’s Facebook page for more info.
Wondering what sushi has to do with a Jewish film fest? Watch the trailer for the film. We’ll see you at opening night!
