JFS is excited to announce the launch of our second Para-Chaplain Cohort, the unique and in-depth training of volunteers to work with Jews in need throughout our Twin Cities community. The training will be held on Mondays for seven weeks from November 4 through December 16 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at JFS.

JFS recently partnered with Sholom to harvest the vegetable gardens on their campus.
Last November, JFS partnered with Sholom and the St. Paul JCC to offer the “Thinking of Change?” forum designed for people facing the changes that mid-life often brings. Over and over, we heard participants ask for more workshops and information on caring for aging parents. With 75 million Americans between ages 40 and 60 dealing with the needs and concerns associated with their aging parents, this doesn’t come as a surprise.
