Thank You, Happy Purim and 2022’s Impact

Every year we listen to the retelling of the story of Purim, and every year there is something new to learn or to take with you. Maybe it’s the steadfast leadership of Mordechai, or the power and strength of Vashti to stand up to the king. Maybe it’s the reminder to find joy in life, or the belief that united we are more powerful than divided. There are so many lessons to be learned from this story, but today we reflect on Queen Esther.

At a time of great importance, Esther was faced with a decision, to either risk her life and status to protect herself and her people, or stay silent. Queen Esther decided to use her time, power, and status to protect the Jewish people. She decided what was important in her life and answered the call.

2022 Annual Impact Report CoverToday, this message means more to us because you are our Esther. You have given your time, voice, and resources to help Jewfolk build upon our mission. A mission to inform, connect, engage, and inspire Jewish adults in order to connect people and deepen personal relationships; build awareness about Jewish efforts; and strengthen Jewish communities. You read articles, listened to podcasts, interacted in our micro-communities, wrote for us, donated money and time, and so much more. Thank you for standing with us and believing in the work that we are doing. None of this would be possible without you. We are excited to continue on this journey of growth and learning beside each of you.
