How did a retired social studies teacher end up running for — and winning — the Minnesota Senate six years ago? According to Sen. Steve Cwodzinski’s wife, it’s because he “sucks at retirement.” This November, Cwod (as he is affectionately known to all) runs in a newly configured District 49 that covers Eden Prairie and parts of the southwest metro.
