Sherry Knazan could’ve hunkered down in her St. Louis Park condo in her first winter back in the Twin Cities after many years living in northern California. Instead, she launched Love Letters Bakery, a cottage-kitchen licensed bakery out of her home. While not certified kosher, Knazan keeps a kosher home and uses kosher ingredients, and specializes in her award-winning challah, cookies, and pies. We talk about a lot of food and why she started her business, but also Jewish education and why she’s taking classes to ger her Ph.D., on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
