You're Invited: A Jewish-Muslim Pair on Peacemaking in Jerusalem and Beyond

Come meet a remarkable Jewish-Muslim Pair: Jerusalem Peacemakers, Eliyahu McLean and Sheikh Ghassan Manasra. 7-8:30 PM. Beth Jacob Congregation.
Beth Jacob Congregation (1179 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights) will host Eliyahu McLean and Ghassan Manasra of the Jerusalem Peacemakers, speaking on “Interreligious Peacemaking in Jerusalem and Beyond.”
Eliyahu McLean is the Jewish director of “Jerusalem Peacemakers,” and Sheikh Ghassan Manasra is the Muslim director of the Islamic Cultural Center in Nazareth. Together, they engage in some of the most creative interreligious peacemaking efforts in Israel, including large grassroots interfaith gatherings and meetings of high-level religious leaders. Come hear their thoughts on the contributions of interreligious dialogue to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
There is no charge for this event, but donations are welcome.
